Dopo quasi un anno sono tornato qualche tempo fa su una spiaggia
e sul greto di un torrente che mi avevano regalato in passato alcuni
dei giottoli più belli. Anche stavolta ho trovato qualche regalo, ma per chi ha già visitato questo mio sito i bei sassi non sono certo una novità. Così, recuperando la mia antica passione per le stoffe, ho collocato i nuovi sassi presentati in questa galleria sullo sfondo di alcune sciarpe di cotone che avevo disegnato e fatto tessere a mano nel 1986-88, quando vivevo in Guatemala.
New stones, old fabrics
Once I went back to a beach and to the shore of a creek where I was given the best giottoli in my collection. A year had passed and once again they offered me some beautiful presents which, anyway, would surely not be a novelty to those ones that had already visited my website. So, as you can see in this gallery, I restored my old passion for fabrics and set the new pebbles against the background of some cotton scarves I designed and had hand-woven during the years 1986-88, when I was living in Guatemala.
